WELCOME TO FRENCH IMMERSION DISCOVERY CLUB! We have been busy this school year!  Our BIG service learning project was held in February for Heifer International.   The kids in our program held a Discovery Club music show, and then afterwards we hosted a spaghetti dinner where there was a suggested donation of $3.00 per person.  We raised $280.00 to buy a goat, two orders of honey bees, 4 orders of tree seedlings, and a tree for a needy village in Africa.  Right now, we are collecting newspapers, new and used towels, and dog and cat canned food for the Humane Society.  Then, on May 3rd we have invited French Immersion staff, parents, and kids to meet us at the Old French Immersion School to participate in the Walk For Animals at Como Lake. During Spring Break, the kids had fun going to the Mall of America Swim Park, Sunray Bowl, and Old Country Buffet! (side note:  The kids and Discovery Club staff speak English in French Immersion Discovery Club)
