Ms. Kim, Site Manager and Group 1 Leader (Kindergarten)
I have been working for Discovery Club for 12 years.  I graduated with a Sociology major at Hamline University.  Discovery Club is great because it gives me the opportunity to get to know the children in our program as they progress from one grade to the next.  When I'm not at Discovery Club, I love to travel!  Some of my favorite places include Yellowstone and Oregon.

I have been working for Discovery Club for 17 years.  I've completed my Interdepartmental Major consisting of Child Psychology, Sociology, and Interpersonal Communication from the U of M.  My favorite thing about working for Discovery Club is the close relationships I develop working with the children and their families each year.

have been working for Discovery Club for 8 years.  I have an associates degree in graphic design and have been working with kids for 13 years.  My favorite part  about my job is getting to know the kids and watching them grow and change.  I love to do art, and help kids find themselves through their own art.  When I'm not at Discovery Club, I love to spend time with my family and friends doing lots of crafts.

years.  I love learning and exploring new things with the Discovery Club children.  I learn so much from them.  When I am not at Discovery Club, I enjoy performing with my Vocal Jazz group, Shoop.  I love to travel and I also love to scrapbook.  I am a volunteer Youth Director working with Senior High students.

Mr. Derek, Morning Discovery Club
I have worked at Discovery Club for three summers and am just starting my third winter with the program.  I have spent most of my time working for DC at either Saint Anthony Park or Rondo

and am excited to meet the staff and kids over here at French Immersion.
I graduated from St. Olaf College in 2006 with a double major in Education and Studio Art.  I went on to get a license to teach K-12 art in Minnesota.
My favorite part about working at discovery club is the opportunity to foster the creative abilities of the students I work with.  Children have such creative minds and it is so wonderful to be around that kind of energy so often!
